“The 7: Banksy Under Siege” : A Collaborative Exhibition makes its UK debut: presenting at the National Horse Racing Museum.

Newmarket/Suffolk:  June 2023 :  The do not miss Experience of 2023.  The 7: Banksy Under Siege Exhibition opens June 3rd , 2023 at the National Horse Racing Museum https://www.nhrm.co.uk/ for a limited engagement. This groundbreaking presentation, in its’ world premiere and Curated by Brandler Galleries UK and Fitzhugh Holdings US, is an immersive and deeply significant journey through powerful artworks created by the Artist Banksy amidst the Ukrainian conflict. With large scale presentation, multi-experience educational kiosks and actual physical antiquity from several war zones within Ukraine, the visitor gains a deep appreciation for the power and poignancy of Banksy's art as well as a better understanding of the human stories that lie at the heart of these murals and their narratives.  Each of these physical artworks serve as a testament to the resilience, courage, and hope that define the people of Ukraine even as they face the unimaginable challenges of war and destruction.  At this moment in a war torn country, we cannot assess day-by-day the level of destruction, vandalism or even total eradication of these artistic monuments and chroniclers of History . For these very reasons:  this is a must-see Experience.  The Exhibition includes a full Audio Tour, educational kiosks, and actual “rubble” from several war zones within Ukraine.

As you explore each piece, gain insight into the messages and symbolism that Banksy has masterfully woven into his work. These spectacular “WALLS”  offer a large-scale and quite unique perspective on the resilience, hope, and the human spirit under siege, as well as a striking commentary on the nature of war and its impact on ordinary lives.

A portion of the proceeds from this Exhibition will benefit the philanthropy Razom, which is providing critical humanitarian war relief and recovery to address the most urgent needs as they evolve in war-torn Ukraine.

Razom, which means “together” in Ukrainian, is honored to announce its collaboration with The 7, Banksy Under Siege Exhibition.   Razom.org is a 501c(3) non-profit organization, which believes deeply in the enormous potential of dedicated volunteers around the world united by a single mission: to building and maintaining a democratic and prosperous Ukraine. Established in the United States, the non-profit organization works towards that mission by creating spaces where people meet, partner, and meet urgent needs on the ground in Ukraine.

The funds donated from this presentation are specifically earmarked for the Co-Pilot project which addresses the significant deficit in high-quality neurosurgical, spine, reconstructive, and plastic surgery training in Ukraine. Just as a co pilot acts as another set of eyes and ears for the pilot, their mission is to send surgeons from North America to mentor and aid Ukrainian surgeons through difficult cases, bringing reconstructive plastic surgeons from the US and Canada to Ukraine.

November 2022:

“The street artist Banksy has confirmed that he is the creator of seven new murals in Ukraine, reports the Art Newspaper’s Anny Shaw.

Until recently, the anonymous British artist had not shared any information about his location. But art in his distinctive style has been popping up throughout Ukraine, causing speculation about his whereabouts, per the Washington Post’s Victoria Bisset”   Smithsonian Magazine

These seminal artworks by Banksy,  perfectly encapsulates the humanitarian strengths of the cultural capital for which this presentation was organized.
